I posted this Mondays Photo a few weeks back that Sam Minnell shot in Dunedin. Here’s and extra photo Sam sent through featuring Eddie Abbot. Mean!
Sheldon Park in Belfast Christchurch is getting a new bowl with construction well underway. I don’t know much about the park other than its built by the same crew as Greymouth & Reefton, so you know the build quality will be good and by looking at the photos above should be a bit of fun.
BMX together with travel, I like to think has always been an important part of this blog. BMX is a passport to take you anywhere. So when I see riders from our country at the bottom of the world making moves internationally, using the advantages and privileges of BMX travel, I can say for certain that I get stoked. Joe Simpson has been doing some solid travels over the last few years so I decided to approach him to share some stories & photos, and being the rad dude Joe is of course he was happy to contribute.
This latest edit from Colony rider Brandon Van Dulken is too good not to post, enjoy!
Here's this weeks instalment of Videos Videos Videos, enjoy!
I shot this photo of Olly Denford somewhere in Auckland’s North Shore a few years back. It was originally taken for a 2020 BMX Magazine article but during the process of taking photos for the magazine 2020 discontinued, so this photo never saw the light of day till now. It has always been a favourite of mine so I’m stoked to share it, not to mention Olly D is a very rad dude and a pleasure to shoot photos with.
Flashback Friday, that's a thing right? Either way I wanted to share this epic piece of BMX for you all, I remember watching this on DVD many years ago and being super stoked on it, FBM Brawlin' at the Belmar, one hell of a good time! This should get you psyched for the sun soaked weekend ahead!!
Click through to check out Brawlin' at the Belmar.. enjoy!
This is Tim White's S&M C.C.R. bike check, and its a rad one, so be sure to check it out!!
“Fullpipes are often hard to find, hard to ride, dangerous, illegal, sketchy and also often the most fun you can have with your friends on a bike. Traipsing through swamplands, wastewater, runoff and rubble, like a kid with a treasure map trying to find gnargold, full pipe adventures are more than just getting rad, its the thrill of the hunt, the anxious stoke before uncovering a new or unknown treasure, and in many ways the essence of a good time on wheels.” – Steve Crandall
SKCrew dropped this edit with some more clips from Victoria Park. Some tight clips from the crew as expected!
After a short week this hump day is feeling pretty good 🍺🍺, we got another rad bike check coming at ya soon so keep an eye out for that.
