Craig Stevens over at Etines New Zealand recently hooked me up with a pair of Etnies Jameson MT Chase Hawk’s to try out and review. I’ve now been riding the Jameson MT for about 3 months now, and I tell ya what its been killer! The shoe is so comfortable I’ve been wearing them daily,

Mike is a BMX professional, a welder, a machinist, a father, and a heavy metal music enthusiast. Regardless of what roll he’s playing he is the man behind building one of the best custom frames in BMX. Built from a simple idea, his frames are one of the most sought after products in BMX. Mike walks us through his beginnings in BMX,

Check these new Tree Pedals spotted on Trees Instagram.. definitely a nice looking set of pedals, which will no doubt be popular with riders more inclined to hang some air time and get a little rad. Excited to see if these go into production.. heres hoping! Its also nice to see plastic pedals are not completely flooding the market anymore.
This new colour way from S&M on the BTM frame is rad as hell!

The only reason I’m posting this is because in my opinion this Shape Top Load stem is killer! Currently I don’t think this stem is available in New Zealand but hopefully a distro will pick it up! Check out more at www.shape-bicycles.fr (if you can read French).
New Credence Stem from S&M bikes is looking familiar but definitely rad! Hopefully available in NZ through the good dudes at TripleSix sometime this year.
Looking for a high-end hub manufacture in America to the highest quality but you dont want Profile? Well check this out.. Hope who make some of the best mountain bike hubs around are playing with the idea of possibly producing a BMX hub in both race and freestyle versions. Hopefully they go through the hub..

I recently spotted this photo of the Fly Bikes rear hub on Dig’s website. It looks like this illusive hub is getting closer to full production after what seems like almost decade of prototype designs and even a few thief’s of the prototypes from Inter Bike. Personally I’m really looking forward to a new high end rear hub available on the market,
A few of you may have already spotted this floating around on the web. This is Odyssey’s buzzy new stem colour way, which will hopefully be available in NZ sometime 2013. It seems that the lightweight phase is deprecating and companies are now getting back to building tough and reliable products once again..
We The People have a long and strong history in New Zealand. It was one of the first more high-end orientated bmx brands available. Not only does We The People produce some amazing parts, they have always had a strong focus on producing complete bikes of the highest standards and quality. For many years We The People has been known to be the best complete bikes available in New Zealand.
Eclat have a unique new rim out for the 2013 season. Their new rim is for brakeless riders and is named The Jaw. It’s said to be stronger than most other rims on the market but the really interesting feature of the rim is that it’s much easier to true your wheel/change spokes as there’s no need to remove the tyre.
I originally spotted this at spokemagazine.com. Transition Bikes are making a rad 26″ BMX/Klunker style bike for their 2013 range. This should make for a perfect summer cruizing bike! Retail is $850nzd. Bring on summer!
This might be slightly old news now but EDH Bikes are now producing ledge wax so you can get your grind on! Head over to www.edhbmx.com to find out more.

I spotted these a while back and thought they are worth a post. Fit Bike Co are now producing cranks which have a much larger 24mm spindle compared to your usual 19mm or 22mm. Because the spindle is larger they should be much stronger than other cranks on the market. But this doesn’t make them heavier,
Here’s a sneak peek at the new Dirt Bike Co frame manufactured by Standard Bykes. Looking super good!
“Nearly ready to head down under are a couple of dope new proto frames produced by hand in the USA for us by Standard Bykes and Rick Moliterno. More pics will follow with handlebar samples as well,
