Craig Stevens over at Etines New Zealand recently hooked me up with a pair of Etnies Jameson MT Chase Hawk’s to try out and review. I’ve now been riding the Jameson MT for about 3 months now, and I tell ya what its been killer! The shoe is so comfortable I’ve been wearing them daily,
Over the years we’ve run a series of top fives with different riders around the country, keeping that tradition alive we have a new set of Top Fives on the site. This time with Taupo’s very own Joe Simpson, and we’re doing things a bit different this time with a few people contributing to spice things up — Joe’s shredder and one good dude so I’m stoked to bring you his Top Fives,
It’s been in the works for a while, I guess good things do take time, so here it finally is, the George Bolter bike check! Enjoy!

Its become a ritual every summer to make a visit to The Wallrides which are nestled deep in the bush on the outskirts of Auckland City. With summer soon to disappear the call was made to make the journey out on the weekend just been. A small crew of Auckland riders got together along with two riders from Portland,

The Etnies and Fox NZ crew are busy road tripping to the prestigious Farm Jam event in the South Island.
They have legendary photographer, Nathan Beddows Documenting the trip with them. They have so far hit up Wanaka and QT bowl and will be smashing Gorge road and the Frew farm over the next few days!
It was a Friday. We drove about four hours from Zurich that morning. The day before we rode that concrete pump track crossed with Gorge rd type thing, and also the amazing bowl across the road from it. Chester, Adam, Craig and myself. After camping in the rain next to a lake the previous night it was good to catch up with Steph.
BMX together with travel, I like to think has always been an important part of this blog. BMX is a passport to take you anywhere. So when I see riders from our country at the bottom of the world making moves internationally, using the advantages and privileges of BMX travel, I can say for certain that I get stoked.
Louis Bolter has recently relocated to Europe.. he spent his first month there travelling around with his bro George Bolter & also meet up with a bunch of other shredders including Jon Riddle from C-Town. New Zealand is somewhat famous for its old school and crazy bowls. Over the years I have ridden most of them.. Whangarei, Waikuku, Waihi.. the list goes on. But there is one I have never ridden and ever since it featured a few clips of Garret Byrnes in the Terrible One video I have always wanted to check it out..

Here’s a few snaps from the 2014 WeThePeople product launch that took place at T.Whites Bikes a few weekends ago. The WeThePeople and Eclat products for 2014 are looking dialled and as always on top of the game, especially the complete bikes. Hit up your local bike shop for more information on the WTP and Eclat range and click through to check out the rest of the photos.
I have for a long time argued that Manakau Skatepark despite its ghettoness and lumpy surface is one of the best parks in Auckland, mostly because its one the of the few parks around you can really get some pace and blast around at full speed.. and these photos sent in by Louis Bolter really add justice to that.
Here’s a few photos that Matt Langlands shot of the Paul Langlands Dirt Sessions that went down a few weeks back. These photos are from ‘The Patch’ in Cambridge. Looks like a good time with lots of shredding going down!
